Job Summary
EduTalent Group is seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a Crawley school. This is a temp to perm role ideal for someone passionate about helping pupils overcome challenges and achieve their potential.
Key responsibilities:
- Support pupils with SEMH in class and small group interventions
- Assist teachers in behaviour management and engagement strategies
- Provide one-to-one or small group support tailored to individual needs
- Encourage social emotional and academic development
- Maintain a safe structured and nurturing learning environment
Requirements
- Experience supporting pupils with SEMH
- Calm patient and empathetic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow guidance and adapt to individual pupil needs
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
