The Team
The Terrace Court Registry is a dynamic team supporting the delivery of court services in the region. With a mix of 10 dedicated staff8 full-time employees 1 part-time and 1 auxiliarythe team plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of court processes. Team members work closely with other court clerks registry technicians supervisors and managers as well as justice partners including Crown Counsel Sheriff Services Judiciary legal counsel and the RCMP. The team is committed to service excellence accuracy and integrity and values a supportive work environment that upholds access to justice for all.
The Role
This combo position includes responsibilities as both a Court Clerk and Accounting Clerk. As a Court Clerk you will manage courtroom procedures ensure accurate documentation and assist the public in accessing court records and filing documents. As an Accounting Clerk you will handle reconciliation process trust and revenue transactions maintain a cash float and prepare deposits. You will also support registry operations through data entry front counter service and document management. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience across Provincial and Supreme Court operations including Criminal Civil and Family law.
