Job Summary

CONSTRUCTION SITE SUPERINTENDENT (Permanent)
Our client an established and well-known construction firm in WNY is looking to hire a Construction Site Superintendent to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

Oversee onsite operations for complex construction projects
Create & maintain positive working relationships with subcontractors and crew members to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
Ensure proper measures are carried out to maintain safety and quality expectations
Travel to various job sitesmostly within NYSto manage daily activities
Coordinate crews material procurement equipment etc. according to projects schedule
Ensure all project documentation/reports are up to date accurate and appropriately reflect each projects progression
Communicate any delays with senior leadership to ensure appropriate adjustments are made to schedules budgets and deadlines
Collaborate with various internal and external team members to ensure plans are executed efficiently
Remain up to date on industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance is maintained at all times
Work well in a team environment as well as independently
Other duties as assigned/as necessary

Details:

Position is full-time direct hire
100% in-office/on-site; some travel required mostly inside NYS up to 60%
$70000 - $100000 annually depending on experience
Full health coverage for individuals employer-subsidized family plans PTO (relaxed policy)
Associates in Construction Management is preferred
5 years experience in Construction Field Supervision and/or civil construction
General Contractor or Construction Manager experience is a plus
Strong computer skills (specifically Excel & Word); Procore a plus
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong attention to detail
Self-motivated and able to work well independently while contributing collaboratively within a team environment
Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple crews and sites
Ability to travel in NYS to projects: travel is approx.. 60% and you will be home on weekends
Relocation not available
