Job Summary
This is a remote position.
Prime Response Inc (PRI) is seeking a Business Development Associate to support PRIs Business Development department. Will be responsible for providing support and expertise for a growth-focused small business in the government contracting industry. Will provide support in all areas of the Business Development process. Will support the Business Development Manager and team on a daily basis relative to the identification qualification and capture of new business opportunities.

Requirements
- Experience with the business development cycle including prospecting qualification capture management and proposal support.
- Knowledge and experience with government contracting industry such as SCA FAR DFAR and government acquisition guidelines and terminology.
- Knowledge and proficiency in the use of on-line government opportunity sites acquisition forecasts government data and competitive intelligence.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
- Must be a good communicator and be able to take complex concepts and present them in a coherent compelling and logical manner.
- Must be internally motivated and able/willing to work with minimal direct supervision and guidance.
- Must be team oriented and goal focused.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and be capable of leading small teams.
Candidate Preferences/Differentiators
- Prior government and/or military background preferable.
- Knowledge of contract vehicles and e.g. GSA MAS OASIS Seaport STARS III etc.
- Leverageable recent relationships.
- 2-3 years of verifiable recent experience in business development activities is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in the use of AI tools in the business development process.
