SENIOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER (Permanent)
Our client an established and well-known contractor in WNY is looking to hire a Senior Construction Project Manager to join their growing team. This is a newly created position due to growth of the company and reports directly to the Director of Project Management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multi-million-dollar commercial projects (HVAC & plumbing) from pre-construction through completion
- Collaborate with various internal and external team members to develop budgets and timelines
- Review drawings specifications job sites materials needed etc. to create accurate bids/proposals
- Establish productive relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the procurement of equipment and materials occurs on time
- Manage a few project engineers & onsite foremen to ensure smooth operations
- Oversee RFI submittals
- Ensure all project documentation/reports are up to date accurate and appropriately reflect each projects progression
- Regularly visit job sites to ensure projects are being completed on time and within budget
- Make adjustments to budgets and deadlines as necessary; update upper management team and external stakeholders
- Partner with Director of Project Management and other senior team members to develop project strategies
- Remain up to date on industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance is maintained at all times
- Work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Other duties as assigned/as necessary
Details:
- Position is full-time direct hire
- 100% in-office/on-site
- $95000 - $130000 annually depending on experience
- Health Dental Vision Simple IRA w/ match PTO paid holidays mileage reimbursement
- Associates or Bachelors in Engineering Construction Management or Architecture is preferred but not required
- 10 years experience in Construction Project Management specifically HVAC Plumbing & Electrical
- General Contractor or Construction Manager experience is a plus
- Strong computer skills MSOffice (specifically Excel & Word); Procore a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong leadership communication and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work well independently while contributing collaboratively within a team environment
- Relocation not available
