Key job responsibilities
- Support customer-facing and engineering teams in debugging complex field issues
- Develop tools to help quickly triage and root-cause complex wifi and networking issues
- Develop framework for automatic detection of field issues without customer involvement or prompting

Experience with Linux/Unix
- Bachelors degree
- Experience debugging diagnosing and troubleshooting complex production software issues
- Experience in supporting field debug of wireless and networking issues using cloud-based control systems
- Deep understanding of wifi and ethernet stacks and protocols
- Ability to independently design and implement experiments to isolate and root cause an issue

- Experience with wifi mesh products
- Experience with syslog logs
- Experience in working with hostapd-based wifi stacks

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
