This position has a current Sign-On Bonus of $3000 with a two year commitment.

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

This job is responsible for timely coordination between clinicians to prioritize patient triage and transfer. Telephonic triage of patients using computer based registration software program to create patient registration profile.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer a multi-channel phone call system to coordinate and facilitate patient triage and transfer. (50%)

  • Register patient in the electronic medical record. (25%)

  • Sent out emergency alert pages. (10%)

  • Strong computer and typing skills. (10%)

  • Communicate with emergency transport staff to dispatch emergency services. (10%)

  • Other duties as assigned. (5%)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

  • High School/GED

  • 1 year of related work history

Preferred

  • Associates Degree in Nursing or Pre-hospital

  • 3 years of First Responder

  • 1 year as a Nursing student

  • 1 year as an LPN

  • 1 year as a Paramedic

  • 1 year as an EMT

  • First Responder Paramedic EMT ORLPN Certification (PA)

  • Multi channel phone

  • Computer Skills

  • Dispatch Experience
