Job Summary

Description

The candidate will serve as the technical lead for pre-sales activities customer interactions and sales within the region. This role requires a comprehensive technical understanding and expertise across various solutions such as conventional hybrid smart Data Center solutions and an emphasis on the latest technological trends while also focusing on the latest technology trends along with the management operations and automation of the Data Center vertical.

GTM and roles with responsibility

  • Business vertical: Government Defence and PSU.
  • Candidate has to increase the Vertivs reach and maximizing sales for Smart Modular Integrated Data Center solutions includes products like Smart Cabinet Smart Row Smart Aisle AI-HPC passive DC solution.
  • Candidate shall has to direct customer engagement and business development site visit and engagement meeting with customers and partners.
  • Handling tender preparation drafting tender specs & technical queries Gov RFPs/Tenders.
  • Consulting expertise to customers during Pre-Sales stages to explore current gaps and define design and present the solutions.
  • Engaging with prospective customers during the sales cycle to understand the requirements from all relevant functional organizations within the prospect; IT Operations Business Management and Finance.
  • Interface with Operations and IT staff to ensure sales proposal components are in line with current operational capabilities strategic direction and technology platform capabilities.
  • Deal negotiation and order management of Enterprise vertical.

Misc

  • Travel required up to 50%.
  • Maintain and report on regional service delivery sales pipeline and project status

Qualifications

  • Graduate/ Post gradual/University degree preferred.
  • 7 years or equivalent experience selling products solution and services in datacenter ecosystems.
  • Ability to sell scope price with limited support.
  • Documented successful sales of enterprise-wide advanced technology data center solutions.
  • Ability to independently conduct meetings with engineering-level management-level or executive level customer personnel in regard to positioning sales and solutions.

Indias data center business has a very strong future with projected significant growth in capacity investment and market value driven by rapid digitalization government support and the increasing demand for AI-ready infrastructure. By 2030 Indias data center capacity is expected to surpass 4500 MW attracting substantial investments and creating a vast market opportunity with future trends including a rise in edge computing AI-optimized facilities and a focus on sustainable high-power solutions.
