Position Overview
The Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships ensuring satisfaction and retaining written business. Once a client is secured by outside sales the Account Manager takes ownershipcoordinating projects internally and maintaining proactive communication. This role requires collaboration with the Estimator and Job Coordinator to ensure projects are executed accurately and on time while tracking all activity in our CRM and production systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned and transitioned client accounts.
- Build strong long-term relationships to support retention and repeat business.
- Process and manage orders from email phone POs and online portals.
- Use the CRM system to log client communications job status and follow-ups.
- Coordinate with the Estimator for accurate pricing and job specifications.
- Convert estimates to jobs in Filemaker (or ensure proper setup is completed).
- Work closely with the Job Coordinator to ensure deadlines are met and production runs smoothly.
- Provide regular updates to clients resolve issues and ensure quality standards are upheld.
- Maintain accurateorder records preferences and job history for each client.
- Support sales reps by handling post-sale follow-up and account coordination.
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial printing account management or a related field preferred.
- Excellent communication problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple active jobs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook); experience with CRMs Filemaker PrintSmith or similar production systems preferred.
- Relationship-driven team-oriented and focused on client success.
