The opportunity

As a Consultant in EYs Finance Consulting team youll have the opportunity to work with some of Australias leading organisations and CFOs to help them reimagine their finance function. From supporting the design of future-state operating models to assisting in the implementation of technology and enhancing data-driven decision-making youll play a key role in delivering strategic finance solutions.

Youll be part of a high-performing team helping clients improve performance efficiency and resilience across the finance lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about problem-solving enjoys working in collaborative environments and wants to make a measurable impact through finance transformation. This position is available in Perth Western Australia.

This is a hybrid position based in Boorloo Perth

Your key responsibilities

• Support impactful Finance and broader Business Consulting transformation projects by assisting in assessments process mapping operating model design and business case development across core finance functions such as Record-to-Report FP&A and Procure-to-Pay.
• You will have the opportunity contribute to enabling digital finance solutions through involvement in system implementations and initiatives involving strategy design and technical solutions such as AI & RPA working closely with clients vendors and cross-functional EY teams.
• Engage with stakeholders and contribute to EYs growth by presenting insights and recommendations supporting business development efforts and participating in knowledge-sharing and continuous learning initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with different EY teams supporting & delivering transformational projects outside of Finance

Skills and attributes for success

• 13 years experience in Finance consulting or transformation roles within professional services or industry with a foundational understanding of finance processes such as P2P R2R FP&A and costing.
• Exposure and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI or other analytics tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical problem solving communication and time management skills with the ability to work independently or in teams.

• A degree in Finance or Commerce
• Previous consulting experience and proven problem solving skills
• A key sector we work with is the Mining and Metals industry a background working in this area would be highly beneficial.
