Are you a dynamic and visionary leader ready to take the next step in your career We are seeking an ambitious and commercially focused Associate Director level individual to join our Infrastructure Advisory team in Victoria. You will be responsible for spearheading profitable and sustainable growth in key growth markets within Victoria and across Australia.

Our Infrastructure Advisory aspiration is to work together to shape the best infrastructure outcomes for society through insight & advice unlocked through technical acumen.

We are uniquely positioned to combine Aurecons infrastructure advisory service offerings with our design and engineering expertise to create an insightful loop between the strategic commercial and technical understanding of infrastructure and convert these into actions to improve business performance and asset value.

What will you do

As a key member of the Infrastructure Advisory team you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and delivering consulting services to both public and private clients. We work across multiple sectors and anticipate growth across Energy and Water Social and Digital infrastructure whilst maintaining our footprint in Transport. You will leverage Aurecons integrated service offerings to deliver transformative solutions for major infrastructure projects within these critical industries.

With a focus on infrastructure and asset investment this role offers regional responsibility with APAC and enterprise-wide influence providing the opportunity to branch out beyond your immediate portfolio and contribute to the continued success of Aurecon.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise to deliver infrastructure and investment advisory services contributing to regional national and international projects driving growth and operational excellence.
• Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across geographies and markets as part of a national team supporting project development for critical infrastructure investments bringing together our design engineering and advisory capabilities in the delivery of seamless client experiences.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships using interpersonal and influencing skills to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Originate revenue opportunities by leveraging your consulting experience and existing client networks developing and executing business strategies to expand offerings through trusted client relationships with major infrastructure & asset owners operators and investors.
• Transition smoothly from business development to delivery seizing new opportunities in growth markets and extending on existing engagements.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative growth culture across your local and national team.

What can you bring to the team

You will share our passion for reimagining challenges within the Energy Transport Data/Digital infrastructure and Water sectors and embrace continuous learning and curiosity to help shape the future of critical infrastructure. To succeed in this role you will ideally have:

• A commercial and/or engineering background or experience within the consulting sector to undertake technical advisory activities which support investment decision making for asset intensive clients.
• A track record of commercial success demonstrating business development and commercial acumen with a particular focus on securing and delivering major projects across multiple markets.
• Consulting experience relating to one or more of the following: technical due diligence technical investment decision making / business cases economic and financial modelling infrastructure advisory and major infrastructure development.
• A growth mindset with the ability to drive innovation and continuously improve processes and outcomes for complex infrastructure systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with experience engaging at all levels within a high-performing business particularly with clients and stakeholder decision makers.
• Demonstrated practical industry experience and the ability to bring clients from the Energy Transport social and Digital infrastructure or Water sectors across with you. Consulting experience with private sector investor clients is considered desirable.
• Experience working in Victoria with a desire to contribute to regional national and international projects.
