Job Title: Nursing Testing Lab Assistant - Student Worker
Reporting Relationship: Testing Support Specialist
Unit: IWU-Marion
Department: School of Health & Nursing-IWU Marion
Campus Location: Ott Hall of Sciences & Nursing Marion IN
Summary of Position: The Nursing Testing Lab Assistant provides direct support to nursing students utilizing the Nursing Testing Lab. This position ensures a welcoming organized and efficient testing environment by assisting with exam preparation proctoring and basic technical support.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet students upon arrival to the lab and provide guidance as needed
- Proctor exams in alignment with testing protocols
- Clean and sanitize testing stations after each use
- Prepare restock and replace materials needed for exams
- Provide support to students with minor computer or technical issues (training provided)
- Take student photos and create clinical badges (training provided)
- Support the Testing Support Specialist with general clerical and organizational tasks
Qualifications:According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement. |
Education - This position is open to non-nursing majors only.
- Training will be provided for all technical and specialized responsibilities.
Experience &Required Skills - Responsible honest and professional in conduct
- Dependable reliable and dedicated to supporting student success
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality of student information
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Capable of working independently and following established procedures
