Responsibilities:
The Associate Executive Tax is an entry-level role. The role holder will be responsible for minor tax queries and tasks.
They will communicate directly with clients on routine operational matters ensuring that all contact enhances the level of service provided. All work delivered need to be accurate well-presented and meet quality standards.
Tasks:
- Escalate or asks for help whenever in doubt. Every escalation / asking for help moment is to be considered a training moment.
- Responsible for maintaining the status of all work in the planning system reporting to the Manager in the event that the plan cannot be executed as scheduled.
- Ensure that work that is submitted to clients contains no defects. All work the Associate produces is reviewed by a senior team member.
- Responsible for becoming a fully qualified Corporate Accounting as quickly as possible.
- Responsible for tracking progress of his/her PDP (personal development and training plan).
- Perform all simple Tax queries and tasks independently and is trained with the aim to cover the entire spectrum of Tax work.
- Update planning information and submit to Manager.
- Ensure protections of information assets of IQ-EQ MU and to abide by the ISMS in place at IQ-EQ MU.

Qualifications :
Required Experience
- Education / professional qualifications
- Degree holder or partly qualified ACA or ACCA
Background experience
- 1 2 years experience
- Experience in a similar role would be an advantage
Technical
- Experienced in basic Tax matters
Computer / program knowledge
- Competent at the basic level of MS Office Word and Excel
