Job Summary
About the role
You will serve as a hands-on technical expert in the Data Delivery team building data products that measure key business metrics and providing trustworthy data assets for SEEK teams across APAC. You will develop and maintain data processing pipelines datamarts and cloud-based solutions using AWS technology. Working within Data Services you will enable every SEEKer to use Data and AI to drive innovation and growth at both scale and speed. Success in this role means delivering reliable data solutions that power business decisions and supporting data consumers across the organization to maximize the value of our data assets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data processing pipelines and datamarts for business metrics.
- Build and optimize Databricks EMR Spark and SQL jobs on AWS infrastructure.
- Deploy and operate production systems using DevOps principles and best practices.
- Support data consumers with query optimization and data quality issue resolution.
- Analyze and enhance performance of SQL queries and physical database schemas.
- Extract structured data from unstructured documents using modern techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
Qualifications :
Skills and experience
- Advanced SQL skills and deep understanding of database technology and optimization.
- Experience with Databricks cloud-based analytics technology preferably AWS ecosystem.
- Proven track record building data pipelines ETL processes and workflow orchestration.
- Experience developing datamarts data warehouses and data modeling solutions.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices including deployments monitoring and system administration.
- Experience extracting structured data from unstructured documents and sources.
