Position: Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer to design build and manage enterprise data solutions. Youll work with Fabric Lakehouses Warehouses and Pipelines to prepare data for analytics and AI workloads.
Youll collaborate with AI engineers product managers and business teams to ensure data is clean secure scalable and ready to power intelligent applications.
What Youll Do
Design and maintain Microsoft Fabric data architecture
Build ETL pipelines using Fabric Synapse or Azure Data Factory
Transform raw data into structured datasets for analytics and AI projects
Optimize data models and pipelines for performance reliability and cost
Support AI engineers for RAG and LLM workloads
Monitor pipeline performance ensure data quality and governance
Document workflows and share knowledge with the team
Requirements
What You Need
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science Data Engineering or related field
36 years in data engineering analytics or platform engineering
Microsoft certifications: DP-600 AZ-204 DP-100
Hands-on experience with:
Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse Warehouse Pipelines)
SQL Spark / PySpark
Azure Data Factory or Synapse
Data modeling and pipeline optimization
Understanding of data governance security and compliance
Nice to Have
Exposure to AI workflows (RAG semantic search)
Experience with Dataverse vector databases or Azure Cognitive Search
Power BI or Power Platform experience
Agile/Scrum experience
