Job Summary
Were looking for an experienced Manager Cloud Operations to lead and scale our Cloud Operations team in this role youll drive the reliability performance and scalability of our global SaaS platform operating on AWS and serving clients across APAC EMEA and AMER.
Youll be at the center of a high-impact automation-driven operations environment leading talented engineers driving operational excellence and partnering closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure every launch and service runs flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mentor and grow the Colombo Systems Engineering team; manage performance and professional development.
- Ensure service availability reliability and performance achieving and exceeding SLAs and SLOs while reducing MTTR.
- Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible and industry best practices.
- Govern change patching and hardening; maintain secure and compliant AWS operations.
- Lead incident response escalations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with preventive actions and clear stakeholder communication.
- Manage APAC schedules and weekend on-call rotations ensuring fair coverage and operational readiness.
- Track and report KPIs; collaborate with cross-functional teams for launch readiness scalability and capacity planning.
Qualifications :
- 6 years in Cloud SRE Systems or Platform Engineering including 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
- Strong experience operating production workloads on AWS (EC2 EKS RDS S3 CloudWatch IAM VPC Systems Manager).
- Excellent Linux expertise; working knowledge of Windows Server operations.
- Proven experience with Ansible for deployment automation and scripting (Python shell or PowerShell).
- Solid background in incident/change/problem management in a 24/5 or 24/7 environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in English.
- Demonstrates strong talent development and team-building skills fostering accountability and a sense of ownership.
- Bonus points for experience with Kubernetes (EKS) Terraform CI/CD pipelines SaaS or fintech environments ITIL or compliance frameworks like SOC 2/SOX.
