An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Care Manager to join our growing team at our Newport Shropshire office. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our company you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care and support for our clients in their own homes. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of care professionals monitoring service quality and maintaining compliance with regulations.
Your key responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of care professionals providing guidance training and support.
- Conduct regular home visits to assess client needs and quality assurance checks.
- Conduct client and care professional introductions.
- Create care plans and coordinate services to meet individual client requirements.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Monitor and evaluate our care professionals performance providing feedback and implementing improvement plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals families and clients to ensure effective care coordination.
- Ensure that all services provided align with company policies and industry standards.
- Address and resolve client and care professional concerns in a timely and compassionate manner.
- This role will involve an element of on call duties.
- Carry out any other duties deemed necessary for the successful operation of the business.
Qualifications :
- Experience of delivering & managing care support services in a similar setting.
- Holds or be willing to work towards a NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- Experience of delivering and managing care support services.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of CQC or relevant Health and social care regulations and compliance.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexible to meet the needs of the business.
- Compassion and empathy for our clients and their families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- The role requires you to have access to your own vehicle and hold a valid driving licence.
