As a (Senior) Electronics Development Engineer in the R&D department you will be part of an interdisciplinary and highly skilled team. You will be responsible for the development commissioning testing and release of electronic assemblies for our growing neuromonitoring portfolio. Programming of microcontroller-based systems as well as development of signal amplifiers and medical device computer systems in compliance with applicable medical device specific standards is part of your daily routine. You will work closely with the software development and systems engineering team and collaborate with various internal departments and external partners to ensure successful in time in scope and in quality project completion.
Typical areas of your responsibility are:
- Circuit and layout development as well as simulations commissioning and testing of electronic assemblies in accordance with applicable standards for medical devices (especially IEC).
- Programming of microcontroller or DSP circuits according to applicable standards for medical devices (IEC 62304).
- Support of EMC and safety tests in accredited laboratories
- Preparation of standard-compliant documentation
- Transfer of series-ready products into production
Qualifications :
- Degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualification alternatively technician in electrical engineering with several years of professional experience in development
- 3 years professional experience in strongly regulated industries such as medical technology automotive or aviation
- High quality awareness and independent working style as well as strong teamwork and communication skills
- Fluent in English and good knowledge in German both written and spoken
