Qantas Group has over 2 million sqm of leased and freehold area in over 100 locations and across more than 300 leases. The Group property portfolio is unique in that it comprises of offices airport terminals engineering hangars and freight facilities.

The Manager Real Estate & Leasing is responsible for the Qantas Groups broad interests in real estate matters ranging from commercial strategy spatial strategy commercial negotiation and leasing subleasing and disposal. The role is also responsible for providing support to transformation initiatives and oversight of embedded/outsourced partner who administers the rent roll and portfolio reporting.

Key to this role will be building and maintaining relationships with internal and external key stakeholders to successfully negotiate complex commercial arrangement and coordinate aspects of transformational change and challenging legacy business processes.

Youll have

  • Tertiary qualifications in a Business or Property-related field
  • Extensive commercial and negotiation experience in a large corporate organisation
  • Experience in developing commercial spatial and commercial strategies to maximise value
  • Experience in negotiation and preparation of new leases and lease renewals
  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to understand the key drivers affecting Qantas and create business value through services and leveraging experienced knowledge leading practices and professional service
