Summary:
You are the liaison between the doctor and the patient and can easily connect with patients and meet them where they are! Your ability to have compassion and understanding provides a calm and warm environment for patients who are anxious and concerned about how to afford dentistry. You help patients gain a greater understanding of their treatment and their dental health plan benefits. You have excellent verbal communication skills. Most importantly you are here to provide a high level of support and an incredible customer experience.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Be present during comprehensive exams to understand patient treatment needs.
- When necessary be present during re-care exams to understand patient treatment needs.
- Handle objections to the proposed treatment.
- Present case fees and financial options to patients to facilitate the decision to say yes.
- Present or co-present the treatment plan and consent.
- Educate patients as necessary regarding their dental benefits.
- Determine dental benefit eligibility limitations and payment estimates necessary to
- facilitate financial arrangements.
- Ensure patients are up-to-date on their financial obligations.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of presenting dental treatment plans experience
- Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday
- Passionate about Customer Service
