Senior Backend Developer

Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to design and build robust cloud-native systems.
Enhance and scale cloud infrastructure using RESTful APIs AWS serverless technologies (e.g. Lambda) and event-driven architectures.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to deliver secure consistent environments.
Ensure all cloud solutions adhere to governance security and compliance standards following AWS best practices.
Design scalable AWS architectures capable of handling millions of requests from hundreds of thousands of users.
Analyze X-Ray logs user stories backlog items and technical documentation to proactively and reactively identify improvement opportunities.
Recommend and implement optimizations in existing code repositories for performance maintainability and scalability.
Lead automation initiatives across unit testing CI/CD pipelines and quality assurance.
Actively participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups demos and retrospectives.
Stay up to date with evolving cloud technologies and continuously grow as a cloud-native engineer.

Qualifications :

• 5 years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Engineer with a preference for AWS-focused roles.
• Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts across IaaS PaaS and SaaS models.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong experience with core AWS services: Lambda SQS S3 DynamoDB and API Gateway.
• Solid experience with Git-based version control systems (e.g. GitHub GitLab).
• 3 years of experience developing applications and APIs using object-oriented languages such as or Java.
• 3 years of hands-on experience with cloud-native programming in or Python.
• Experience working with enterprise-scale cloud environments and implementing DevOps automation and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines.
• Experience with Atlassian tools (e.g. Jira Confluence) and effective written communication skills.
• AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Developer) are a strong plus.
