Job Summary
The essential ingredient at the heart of our business is our people so we are searching for an experienced Kitchen Porter with a background in exceptional food catering services to join our business and work at one of our highly prestigious education settings.
As a Kitchen Porter you will
As well as having an excellent organisational and communication skills you will be able to demonstrate a real passion for food & service and possess bags of enthusiasm and a can do attitude.
- To clean and wash up all kitchen and service items in an efficient manner.
- To assist in the preparation of food as required.
- To keep the kitchen and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state at all times.
- To operate heavy equipment according to manufactures instructions.
- Supporting school events and special functions as required
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment always following health and safety regulations.
- Assist the kitchen team in all aspects of food preparation production and service.
- Foster a positive working environment by demonstrating leadership qualities effective communication and teamwork.
Qualifications :
- Ideally have experience working within Education catering
- Have good Health & Safety knowledge
- Flexible with a can-do attitude customer focused
- Fun and enthusiastic
- Have excellent organization skills
- Demonstrate great attention to detail
- Be a team player and enjoy succeeding as a team
- Possess great customer service skills
- Have a flexible approach to work
