The Department of Classics and Religious Studies invites applications for a Long-Term Appointment (LTA). The successful candidate will hold a teaching-focused position with a five-year contract. The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.
These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.
These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Teaching duties
The successful candidate will contribute to core undergraduate offerings in Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS) and Religious Studies (SRS) and will play a key role in supporting new and emerging programs in these areas. Courses will include introductory and upper-year offerings. Specific courses will be confirmed annually by the Chair of the Department.
Academic support duties
In addition to teaching the appointment includes significant administrative and program support responsibilities such as:
Members with an LTA are guaranteed a workload equal to seven (7) three-credit courses per academic year at least one of which shall be assigned in the form of academic support duties.
