Job Description
Reporting to the Group Manager II for Retirement & Benefits Delivery the Group Manager I leads a team of HR professionals who deliver retirement and savings programs for TDBG Canada. You will guide your team to provide excellent service solve problems and make sure our work meets all rules and standards. You will help improve how we work by finding better ways to do things using new technology and making sure our data is accurate. You will also help make TD a great place to work by supporting our colleagues and making sure everyone feels included.
Key Responsibilities
Lead coach and support your team to reach their goals and grow their skills.
Make sure retirement and savings requests are handled quickly and correctly.
Solve problems and handle escalations making sure issues are fixed and lessons are learned.
Work with vendors and partners to improve service and solve any issues.
Team up with payroll finance and compliance to make sure everything is processed and reported properly.
Look for ways to make work easier and faster including using automation and better systems.
Make sure all work follows TD policies laws and audit rules.
Keep processing documents and guides up to date.
Build a positive fair and diverse team environment where everyone can succeed.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree is preferred.
At least 3 years of experience in HR operations benefits or pension administration.
Experience leading a team.
Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
Comfortable using HR systems like Workday and Microsoft Office apps like Excel.
Strong communication skills and able to work well with others.
