Account Manager, Valve Automation Solutions

We are looking for an Account Manager Valve Automation Solutions to strengthen our Flow Control team in Milan Italy. You will be responsible for the successful development and growth of business in Italy.

Your responsibilities

• Actively pursuing sales leads by visiting both existing and new customers.
• Negotiating prices and delivery times within authorized limits.
• Finalizing sales orders.
• Assessing customer needs and recommending suitable products and services.
• Identifying researching and reaching out to potential customers fostering positive relationships for future sales and repeatable business.
• Providing valuable insights into sales leads customer feedback and competitor activity to the organization to implement responsive market strategies.

To succeed in this role you will need

• Bachelors Degree in Engineer or relevant similar qualifications.
• Minimum 4 to 5 years work experience in a commercial position within the Italian market for Actuators.
• Broad product knowledge in the field of quarter turn Pneumatic Actuators and associated instrumentation as well as Electric Actuators.
• Ability to adhere to established procedures and guidelines to be effective in product and service promotion and sales.
• Capability to formulate clear action plans and drive processes with multiple interdependencies.
• Strong problem-solving skills analytical capabilities and collaborative mindset.
• Teamwork proficiency and ability to work autonomously.
• Skills in using MS Office tools especially Excel.
• Native Italian speaker with a minimum English proficiency of B1 level (both written and spoken).
