Assist Pilot Plant Management in managing daily cGMP operations coordinating manufacturing cleaning and maintenance tasks for the BOP. Ensure chemical procedure safety quality and regulatory compliance in handling raw materials production intermediates and end products. Resolve complex problems by making decisions between options.
Coordinate manual and computer operations (PLC) for manufacturing chemical intermediates and finished products ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to company policies. Monitor designated chemical processes for safety quality and regulatory compliance. Follow Safety & Environmental guidelines cGMP and other regulations. Provide suggestions for process improvement. Collect and test samples record results and take necessary actions. Inspect finished products for quality assurance. Receive inspect and document raw material deliveries. Manage Quality Systems compliance and support Process Techs. Perform duties in line with SOPs GMP GLP and safety guidelines. Maintain compliance with company and facility standards. Support with DR drafts and corrective actions. Dispose of hazardous waste as per company training.
Transport Hazardous Waste Drums from Pilot Plant to Storage Area following Hazardous Waste Training. Rotating 12-hour shifts 7 days a week with approved overtime.
High school diploma or comparable experience
Candidates should have the education and experience typically acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of the Process Tech On-The-Job Training program Phase I & II is required involving Chemical Technology Math and Chemistry application.
Equivalent combinations of education training and relevant work experience may be considered.
Proficiencies: Strong familiarity and comprehension of fundamental tools. Strong analytical skills and methodical approach to resolving moderately intricate issues. Evident interpersonal and communication abilities to cultivate a collaborative atmosphere. Capability to comprehend and apply technical protocols and governmental guidelines. Capability to utilize core mathematical concepts.
Attention to detail and motivation to complete tasks accurately and efficiently are essential. Collaboration within a team setting is also necessary. The role involves working 12-hour shifts on a rotating basis including nights and holidays in a 24/7 operation. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing practices and pharmaceutical processes is required.
Standing using hands reaching sitting talking hearing walking stooping kneeling crouching climbing stairs lifting 50 lbs. and sitting up to 4 hours are required. Vision requirements: close vision focus adjustment.
