We are currently looking for a Product Planning Sr Specialist to join our team in Mexico City. As a Product Planning Senior Specialist at Nissan you will play a pivotal role in guiding the direction of the business by shaping the product portfolio and ensuring strategic alignment across functions. You will be at the forefront of business and portfolio planning making critical decisions before any investment is made.

This role is essential in developing clear strategies that support our regional product line-up helping to shape the future of Nissan.

A Day in the Life:

  • Analyze and compare Nissans product portfolio against competitors to identify gaps and opportunities ensuring our offerings remain competitive and aligned with market trends.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand evolving customer needs preferences and trends.
  • Define and communicate the product vision in alignment with Nissans business objectives ensuring the portfolio meets customer demands and market needs.
  • Use insights to drive decision-making and uncover potential opportunities for product innovation.
  • Define product vision in alignment with company goals customers and market needs.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of products from concept through to EOP ensuring each phase is aligned with the overall business strategy and market expectations.
  • Work across functional with stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements.

Who Were Looking for:

Required:

  • Bachelor degree: Engineering (Mechanical Industrial or similar) or Business-related.
  • Professional Experience: 2 years in the Product Planning activities or Automotive Industry.
  • Microsoft Office advanced knowledge (Excel PowerPoint Word Outlook Project etc.)
  • Fluent English
  • Travel 10%

Desired:

  • Desired experience in planning departments such as program management or similar.

Reporting line: Jr Manager Product Planning
