Janitorial Supervisor JLL

What this job involves: As a Janitorial Supervisor at JLL you will lead and manage cleaning operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness safety and regulatory compliance. This role is critical to maintaining operational excellence and client satisfaction while supervising cleaning staff and coordinating with area leadership. You will be responsible for implementing safety protocols managing resources efficiently and developing staff to achieve measurable objectives including zero safety incidents and 100% compliance with established procedures.

What your day-to-day will look like:

You will review previous shift End of Shift (EOS) reports annotate carryover items and develop action plans

You will conduct beginning of shift briefings assign personnel to routes and equipment conduct safety briefings and submit reports to PM

You will ensure all personnel conduct pre and post operation checks on assigned equipment

You will run the floor throughout the entire shift flexing employees to address hot spots and absences

You will deploy emergency response cleanup as needed and audit routes using Corrigo to assess cleaning procedures

You will report incidents and hazards to JLL/Safety leadership and conduct spot checks of employee PPE requirements

You will supervise cleaning staff performance establish cleaning standards and provide coaching and development

Required Qualifications:

You must have previous management experience in a supervisory role

You must have a high school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience

You must have experience working in a unionized environment

You must demonstrate strong organizational and management skills

You must possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills

You must have the ability to work overtime as needed

You must understand OSHA State and Local regulatory compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

You should have experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

You should have knowledge of environmental health and safety protocols

You should have familiarity with HAZMAT compliance and environmental initiatives

You should have understanding of ISO compliance standards

You should have experience with cleaning equipment maintenance and inspection procedures
