Job Summary
Job Description: Planning Engineer
Location: Doha Qatar
Project: Civil Construction Works
Contract Type: 1-year (extendable)
Working Hours: 10 hours/day 6 days/week
Benefits: Food transportation accommodation and PPE provided
Role Purpose
The Planning Engineer is responsible for preparing monitoring and controlling project schedules to ensure timely completion of all civil works. The role requires coordination with site teams management and subcontractors to align execution with project requirements and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using planning software (Primavera P6 / MS Project).

Monitor daily weekly and monthly work progress and update schedules accordingly.

Prepare baseline programs look-ahead schedules and recovery plans.

Identify critical paths analyze potential delays and recommend corrective measures.

Coordinate with site engineers foremen and subcontractors for smooth workflow.

Generate reports and forecasts for management and client submission.

Support project management in resource allocation cost tracking and risk mitigation.
Requirements

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (preferred).

Minimum 10 years of proven experience as a Planning Engineer in civil construction projects.

Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques and construction processes.

Fluency in English (spoken and written).
