Job Summary
If you are a professional looking for an opportunity to grow Emerson has an appealing role for you! Based in Cluj-Napoca the Global IT Procurement Analyst will perform Buyer related functions supporting the Global IT Procurement Organization.
- Acquire vendor quotes;
- Process purchase requisitions;
- Purchase Order creation in systems of transaction (primarily Oracle) for Emerson entities globally;
- Collaborate with Service Delivery Managers to ensure timely product delivery;
- Record receipts in the purchasing system of record for all systems globally;
- Coordinate delivery of approved Purchase Orders;
- Prepare required regulatory reports;
- Coordinate the timely payment of invoices with Finance;
- Coordinate signing of leasing and purchasing documents under appropriate delegation of authority;
- Assist Emerson entities with inquiries related to invoices for IT product orders

- A university degree in Business or a related field or equivalent professional experience
- Previous experience in a support or administrative role ideally with some exposure to procurement or invoice handling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Point Excel and Word software;
- Customer focus with good interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and productive;
- Proficient English is required;
- Proficiency in working and excelling in a team environment including the ability to interact across all levels of management within the organization
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Ability to speak any second language is helpful.
Knowledge of Oracle purchasing/sourcing applications is strongly preferred;
