The Digital Services Branch works across the public service to connect influence and support the system to take advantage of new digital opportunities. It also supports the Government Chief Digital Officer (GCDO) to drive the governments digital transformation and position government to succeed in a changing and evolving digital age.

The All of Government Services Delivery Group (AoGSD) is responsible for a broad Portfolio of All of Government ICT services and digital products to over 300 government agencies. AoGSD works closely with the supply market to deliver modern digital and ICT services across government through common capability agreements cloud framework agreements and contracts. Over $1 billion annually goes through our Portfolio.
The ICT Capability Partner is a trusted advisor and enabler to agencies consuming and transitioning to the system wide shared ICT commercial products (common capabilities framework agreements and Marketplace catalogues).
The ICT Capability Partner takes a portfolio-wide view in order to serve as the initial interface between agencies and suppliers delivering tailored and targeted advisory services and brokering communication and engagement between agencies and the suppliers of ICT commercial products.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Extensive experience in a business partnering or customer facing role providing advice guidance and support within an ICT environment
- Significant experience managing stakeholders in a cross-government context
- Excellent and applied understanding of the ICT industry particularly in relation to market trends products and supplier performance
- Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to understand points of difference gain trust and work through challenging situations
- Well networked with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to support a joined-up approach to delivering cross-functional outcomes
- A base level of procurement knowledge and understanding of government procurement rules
- A busy varied and interesting portfolio of work
- Exposure across government agencies with value-driven interesting work
- The on-going support of teams within the branch to encourage diversity of thought and challenge the status quo and knowledge sharing
