Job Summary
Were seeking a Principal Product Manager Technical to lead Amazons product compatibility data strategy. This role will shape how millions of customers discover and purchase compatible products across Amazons global marketplace. Youll own the end-to-end data generation lifecycle that powers compatibility matching across categories like electronics home appliances and accessories helping customers confidently find products that work together.
Key job responsibilities
- Define and execute the 3-5 year strategic vision for Amazons compatibility data generation quality and distribution strategy
- Lead development of next-generation data processing systems to revolutionize how compatibility information is managed and served
- Drive integration with key Amazon shopping and personalization systems
- Own relationships with critical internal partners across retail catalog and engineering teams
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to Product Managers
- Establish data quality standards and drive continuous improvement through automated feedback loops
- Lead cross-functional initiatives involving multiple engineering teams across Amazon

- 10 years of technical product or program management experience
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science engineering statistics
- Experience leading cross-organizational programs and setting and holding teams and individuals to timelines and deliverables without explicit authority
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies business analysis or process improvement
- Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders
- MBA
- Experience with machine learning systems and LLMs
- Experience with distributed systems and high-scale data processing

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
