Freddie Macs Credit Risk Management Division is currently seeking a Risk System Development Professional to perform all tasks related to utilizing Data and Analytics for Credit Risk Management.

Our Impact:

Create Innovative Solutions to Monitor and Mitigate Risk across the Single-Family Mortgage Portfolio.

Your Impact:

  • Create and implement Data and Analytics Applications Data Pipelines Analytical Pipelines to monitor Credit Risks.

  • Identify Users Data Needs and Research on making it available to them for Risk Monitoring and Identification.

  • Automate Data Curation Process and Create DMC and DCU Tools.

  • Assist in Building Data and Analytic Tools for Risk and Credit Monitoring.

Qualifications:

  • Typically 2 - 4 years of experience developing methodologies for data validation and data quality control preferred.

  • Typically 2-4 years of experience and bachelors degree in finance Statistics Computer Science or a related quantitative field or equivalent experience; work towards advanced studies/degree preferred.

  • Spark or Kubeflow experience to utilize structured and unstructured big data.

  • Collect manipulate and analyze large volumes of data from a variety of sources and structures.

  • Design rich data visualizations to communicate and present complex ideas. Familiarity presenting research results to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • User Interfaces Data base Programming and algorithms. Programming languages may includebut are not limited toPython R SQL Java and SAS. Database Systems like Snowflake SQL Server Oracle MongoDB etc. preferred.

Keys to Success in this Role:

  • Strong Data and analytics skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong programming skills (Python and/or SAS; Java and SQL would be helpful)

  • Experience with Hadoop or Gen AI

  • Team Player.

  • Deep curiosity to learn about new things with critical thinking.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $98000 - $146000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position experience skill set internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
