Practical overview for the Year 1 Teacher: you will plan and deliver differentiated lessons that develop reading fluency and number sense. The Year 1 Teacher will run targeted phonics groups host parent workshops and collaborate with Early Years colleagues to ensure smooth transition from reception into Year 1. The Part-Time Year 1 Teacher will be part of planning cycles and meet with the phase leader regularly; even as a Part-Time Year 1 Teacher you will receive the same mentoring and CPD as Full-Time staff.
