DT Teacher Work with Modern Tools in a Safe Well-Equipped Setting Redbridge
A dynamic comprehensive in Redbridge requires a Design & Technology Teacher with a focus on Resistant Materials and practical engineering from January 2026.
- DT Teacher (Resistant Materials) required from January 2026
- Redbridge-based school with excellent safe workshop facilities

You will teach Resistant Materials and core DT at KS3and lead the GCSE/BTEC practical pathways. The role involves managing the well-equipped workshop ensuring machinery safety (lathes milling machines) and guiding students through the entire design-and-make process.
Experience and Qualifications
- QTS and a specialism in Design & Technology (Resistant Materials/Engineering)
- Proven competency in safely operating and teaching the use of workshop machinery
- Experience teaching the practical component of GCSE or BTEC DT
- Strong commitment to design excellence and technical precision
