Job Summary
A collaborative secondary school in Lincoln is seeking a History ECT to begin in January 2026. You will teach History across KS3 and KS4 support student research and historical enquiry and contribute to local history projects.
- Fulltime ECT role from January 2026
- Located in Lincoln Lincolnshire
- Teach History KS3 and KS4 involvement in local or regional historical initiatives
This is a valuable opportunity for a new teacher who enjoys depth debate and helping students understand the past. The History department has active links with regional museums and runs trips and competitions.
Experience and Qualifications
- QTS at ECT level specialism in History or related subject
- Good knowledge of British & world history enquirybased and interpretative approaches
- Strong classroom presence and ability to engage students through stories and sources
- Legal right to work in UK
