Corporate Commercial LAA or Paralegal
Salary: $65000 $80000
Location: Surrey

Summary:
Our client is seeking a full-time Corporate Commercial Legal Administrative Assistant or Paralegal with a minimum of five years of experience to support a busy solicitors practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced high-energy environment and enjoys collaborating to get deals done. The role involves supporting corporate-commercial matters including mergers and acquisitions private and commercial financings and contract preparation.

Youll play a key role throughout the transaction lifecycle from initial client meetings to post-closing in a close-knit team that values efficiency attention to detail and results.

Duties:

Prepare legal documents and agreements including contracts financing and closing materials
Assemble commercial lending and financing packages
Conduct due diligence and corporate searches
Coordinate funding and handle related accounting and trust matters
Support all aspects of transactions from start to finish adapting to evolving priorities

Qualifications:

Legal Administrative Assistant or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited post-secondary institution
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar corporate-commercial role
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
Detail-oriented proactive and adaptable in fast-paced transactional settings
Team-oriented and willing to work flexibly during deal closings
Experience in conveyancing commercial transactions and lending (private and commercial) is an asset
