Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Butcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of meat processing cutting and trimming techniques along with excellent attention to hygiene safety and product quality. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of precision and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities

Cut trim debone and prepare various types of meat including beef pork poultry and lamb

Operate knives saws grinders and other meat processing equipment safely and efficiently
-
Portion and package meat products according to specifications and customer requirements
-
Inspect meat products to ensure freshness quality and compliance with food safety standards
-
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas tools and equipment
-
Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures
-
Assist with inventory control and restocking of meat products
-
Provide support to team members and ensure production targets are met
Qualifications & Experience
-
Minimum 2 years of experience as a butcher or meat cutter (industrial or retail environment)
-
Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cutting techniques
-
Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP certification an asset)
-
Physically fit and able to lift heavy products (up to 50 lbs)
-
Reliable punctual and able to work in a refrigerated environment
-
Team-oriented with good communication skills
