Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Shift: 12-Hour Variable

Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
Monday: 10:00 AM 9:00 PM

Job Summary:

The MRI Technologist performs Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist. These procedures are ordered by a physician or licensed provider to aid in diagnosing diseases and injuries. The technologist ensures quality imaging while adhering to established protocols and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images.
Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during exams.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Follow safety protocols related to MRI procedures and equipment.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Monitor equipment performance and report any issues for service.

Qualifications:

Education:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Experience:

Less than 1 year of relevant experience required.

Required Certifications:

American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
ARRT MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) ARRT(MR)
ARRT Radiography ARRT(R)
