- Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Monday: 10:00 AM 9:00 PM
Job Summary:
The MRI Technologist performs Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist. These procedures are ordered by a physician or licensed provider to aid in diagnosing diseases and injuries. The technologist ensures quality imaging while adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images.
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during exams.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Follow safety protocols related to MRI procedures and equipment.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues for service.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Experience:
- Less than 1 year of relevant experience required.
Required Certifications:
- American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
- ARRT MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) ARRT(MR)
- ARRT Radiography ARRT(R)
