Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format):
- Administer and manage Microsoft Azure cloud environment including subscriptions resource groups and security.
- Oversee Azure networking (VNETs subnets NSGs VPN Gateway ExpressRoute Load Balancers Application Gateways Azure Firewall Azure Front Door).
- Manage Azure compute resources such as Virtual Machines VM Scale Sets App Services and Containers (AKS/ACI).
- Handle Azure storage solutions (Blob File Queue Disk) and ensure storage security.
- Administer Azure identity and access management (Azure AD Conditional Access MFA SSO PIM).
- Monitor and manage Azure environments using Azure Monitor Log Analytics Application Insights Sentinel and Automation.
- Implement backup and recovery solutions using Recovery Services Vault and Azure Site Recovery (ASR).
- Utilize Azure ARC for hybrid and multi-cloud management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Azure environment.
- Design develop and implement highly available multi-region Azure solutions.
- Analyze and improve existing operational standards processes and governance.
- Migrate on-premises infrastructure and services to Azure cloud solutions.
- Ensure security and manage access controls of cloud-based systems.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform Azure CLI Puppet and Ansible for automated deployments.
- Implement data protection and policy-driven best practices to prevent data loss.
- Support cloud adoption and modernization of applications.
- Maintain infrastructure performance and capacity standards.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for technical escalations.
- Collaborate within Agile frameworks and use tools like Jira and ServiceNow.
- Script automation tasks using Perl Python and PowerShell.
- Mentor and teach teammates and cross-functional partners.
