Job Summary
We are looking for a Category Buyer to join our clients team.

Responsibilities:
- Define and execute category plans to drive profitability volume growth and customer satisfaction
- Monitor market trends competitor activity and consumer behavior to inform category decisions
- Identify evaluate and onboard suppliers aligned with quality cost and delivery standards
- Negotiate commercial terms including pricing rebates and promotional support
- Ensure optimal product assortment availability and shelf presentation across stores
- Collaborate with merchandising and marketing teams to drive category visibility and performance
- Track category KPIs including sales margin stock turnover and supplier compliance
- Prepare regular reports and insights for senior management review
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies ethical sourcing standards and regulatory requirements
- Mitigate supply chain risks through proactive planning and supplier diversification
Key Skills:
- Minimum 5 years experience in buying category management or procurement within retail or FMCG.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation category growth and margin improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Retail Management or related field.
