Job Summary

Job Title :Senior IT Project Manager (Government PMP Agile COTS/SDLC)

Location: Albany NY(Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Qualifications:

Proven experience managing and leading multiple large-scale complex IT projects for U.S. Government agencies serving as Project Manager. These projects typically include budgets exceeding $500000 durations over 12 months multiple funding sources (Federal and grant-funded) third-party vendor management external stakeholder coordination multi-level team structures and deployment across geographically distributed user bases.
Experienced in developing and executing comprehensive project management plans encompassing Charter Scope Schedule Cost Quality Communication Change Risk Issue and Resource Management Plans and overseeing their execution throughout the entire project lifecycle - from initiation to closeout.
Skilled in creating and maintaining formal project schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project tracking progress and variances against established baselines and applying Waterfall Agile and Hybrid methodologies. Proficient in using standard project management techniques (e.g. Scrum sessions) to update schedules and in presenting status reports to ITS and client agency leadership.
Strong experience in developing documenting and managing detailed Scope Documents reviewing project deliverables overseeing the deliverable acceptance process and using scope and deliverable management practices to control and process project change requests.
Hands-on experience in project quality management including quality planning assurance control end-to-end system testing user acceptance testing (UAT) defect tracking metrics management and quality governance.
Demonstrated success managing both Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software implementation projects and custom application development (SDLC) projects.
Certified Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP) and PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
