Job Title: Hardware Technical Program manager
Location: Sunnyvale CA
As an EE TPM you lead the EE hardware engineering teams in developing products from concept to mass production. You own the end-to-end PCB ok2fab schedule manage EE build matrix lead cost down efforts and keep management up-to-date on progress.
Key job responsibilities As an EE Technical Program Manager you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative consumer this role you will:
Work with EE engineering team and stakeholders in product deliverable management.
Deep dive on key technical issues and lead teams to find solutions within program constraints
Own EE PCB FPCB design and development schedules
Communicate regularly with EE management on status risks and to drive key decision making
Manage EE build matrix drive cost down efforts look around corners to prevent common development pitfalls.
Basic qualifications
5 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
3 years of technical product or program management experience
3 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
Bachelors degree in engineering computer science or equivalent
3 years hardware design or development experience consumer electronics preferred
Preferred qualifications
3 years of working directly with electronics/electrical engineering teams experience
Familiar with board design and release process.
Familiar with product PDP process
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience with management reporting and strong technical communication skills both written and verbal. Must be able to handle ambiguity when dealing with complex problems and able to drive consensus across organizations. Experience with managing or mentoring younger employees is preferred
