| Job Description |
What you will be doing: - Assist attorneys with all aspects of personal injury cases including medical malpractice cases if applicable.
- Work on files from beginning to end and handle personal and travel arrangements for the Managing Partner.
- Conduct legal research and analysis related to personal injury claims.
- Draft legal documents including pleadings motions discovery requests and responses.
- Prepare and organize case materials for hearings trials and settlements.
- Communicate with clients medical providers and other parties involved in the litigation process.
- Manage case files and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Assist with trial preparation including witness preparation and exhibit coordination.
- Collaborate with attorneys and other paralegals to ensure efficient case management.
Experience you will need: - Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Paralegal.
- Strong background in Personal Injury law or medical malpractice cases is highly desirable.
- Must have litigation experience.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in legal research and writing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.
- A paralegal certificate or equivalent is preferred.
