Boston Scientific is seeking a strategic and visionary Vice President of Commercial Sourcing to lead our global strategy for Direct Materials sourcing with a strong emphasis on securing critical components that underpin our manufacturing and R&D capabilities. This newly created position represents a key investment in strengthening our sourcing leadership by bringing in a transformative leader who can drive strategic change and act as a trusted business partner across the enterprise.
This is a high-impact executive role responsible for overseeing a global organization of 150 professional sourcing staff including leading a senior externally facing supplier engagement team that regularly interfaces with BSCs supplier leaders at the Director VP and CEO levels. The Vice President will serve as the architect of the global commercial sourcing ecosystem focusing on business supply continuity optimal customer service cost competitiveness and supplier-driven NPD innovation.
As a key leader in the Global Sourcing team this individual will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across the end-to-end supply chain regions and divisions (including Sustaining teams and New Product Development) to ensure that sourcing category strategies directly support business growth operational efficiency and long-term supply continuity.

At Boston Scientific we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our Marlborough MA office at least three days per week.
