Job Summary
What are we looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic Staff Accountant with strong accounting skills who is open to solving this role you will collaborate closely with internal teams and be required to execute the work allocated to you. This role demands a strong learning quotient and attention to detail.
What will you do
- Perform month-end closing responsibilities such as journal entries account reconciliations and financial analytics and assist in submitting the information to external consultants in submitting the information for Direct & Indirect tax filings.
- Manage the vendor accounts i.e. generate a list of open invoices on a weekly basis and apply the payments manually in ERP which are not auto-applied in theERP / AP system.
- Assist in the posting of Inter-company transactions reconciliations & payments to be made to settle the open transactions.
- Preparation of Schedules coordinating with external auditors/consultants to ensure the timely completion of an audit and sharing the required samples.
- Actively participate in special projects assigned or ad-hoc activities.
What skills and knowledge should you bring
- Bachelors degree in accounting with 2 years of experience
- Ability to communicate professionally clearly and effectively to target audiences.
- Strong attention to detail including being a strong individual contributor.
- Sufficient knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
- Experience working with ERP systems i.e. NetSuite Coupa will be a plus
