Job Summary
The Electrician will work with the maintenance department to handle all electrical work. Installs and repairs electrical apparatus and wiring circuits which consist of three-phase 480/240 Volt power machine tool and production equipment control circuits lighting and 110 volt power circuits. Work instructions may come from complicated drawings or simple sketches. Responsible for troubleshooting and emergency repair. Mechanical knowledge is also required to complete equipment repairs.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
Installs and repairs plant equipment.
Installs and maintains power circuits.
Troubleshoots and repairs plant equipment.
Directs helpers in maintenance efforts.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
High School or vocational school.
Preferable 5 yrs Industrial maintenance electrical work.
