Responsibilities:
- A clinically competent registered professional nurse who prescribes delegates and coordinates nursing care to the hospitalized patient through the nursing process of assessment planning intervention implementation and evaluation.
- Effectively interacts with patient significant others and other health team members while maintaining ANA standards of professional nursing practice.
- This nurse functions in a leadership overseeing daily unit operations staff and care delivery utilizing a staff focused leadership model.
Qualifications :
Required:
- General: Recent hospital experience and/or previous nursing practice experience preferred
- Minimum: 3 years
Preferred:
- At least two years experience in pertinent clinical specialty.
- Education: General: Proficient in English.
- Verbal and written communication skills and computer skills required;
- Minimum: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN required.
- Licensure: General: Licensed or eligible for licensing in Illinois as a Registered Nurse;
- Minimum: LIC RN CERT BLS
