Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager working in collaboration with clinic lead and professional practice leader as a member of the Outpatient Rehabilitation team you will provide quality physiotherapy services to all MSK outpatient rehabilitative services (i.e. Post-surgical - acute sub-acute orthopedic/surgical patients fracture clinic bundle care (knees hips shoulders etc.) WSIB specialized care program etc.
Accountabilities:
- Work with the patients/families and other team members to assess and treat patients optimizing independence and recovery
- Provide education and consultation to patients their families team members and community partners as appropriate
- Practice in accordance with the physiotherapy standards of practice and code of ethics as outlined by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
Qualifications :
- MSc Physiotherapy or equivalent
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Recent experience providing physiotherapy in an ambulatory care setting
- Experience with assessment and treatment of post surgical and post fracture patients
- Experience with assessment and treatment of orthopaedic injuries
- Experience with WSIB clients and return to work planning
- Experience supervising physiotherapy assistants
- Knowledge of evidence-based clinical practice related to surgical patients
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of an inter-professional patient care team
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment with excellent time management and organizational skills required
- Experience with virtual care
- Computer literacy strong computer skills to support necessary documentation requirement for all patient groups
- Strong abilities to prioritize patient caseload to meet the needs of the referral volumes in a busy acute care setting
- Flexibility in caseload and program assignment
- Experience in provision of relief coverage during planned and unplanned vacation/absences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills required
- Proven record of good attendance and punctuality
- Must demonstrate Oslers Values of Respect Excellence Service Compassion Innovation and
- Will be required to travel between and work at all hospital campuses including weekend coverage

Salary:
Minimum: $41.73 per hour
Maximum: $54.79 per hour
