Job Summary
As an open source community builder you know how to strike a balance of passion and pragmatism. You thrive with building sustainable content programs that developers contributors and consumers taut as high-quality documentation where the samples and tutorials just work. You love working in open source to create better developer experiences for its users. large part will be collaborating with open source developers and contributors of many abilities and backgrounds and writing Swift with them! If you dont already know Swift youll be expected to learn in order to connect with developers.
- Experience building content and community programs for an open source community/ecosystem in a community developer relations technical marketing or related positions
- Ability to create technical content (sample code written word etc) independently and with a large team
- Ability to break down concepts per audience
- Experience building communication channels with moderation guidelines
- Proven experience with public speaking and technical writing skills for blogs and documentation
- Experience working with GitHub in a collaborative git environment with knowledge of content publishing tools
- A level of quality that is bar none
- Demonstrated empathy and reasoning
- At least in a Linux based operating system environment with an understanding about the command line common tools navigating file systems and more
- Programming language industry experience
- Experience with Swift on Linux Windows and/or Embedded
- Strong facilitation prioritization and project management skills.
- Comfortable with navigating ambiguity in order to build structured plans and solutions
- Experience with DocC
- You exude collaboration skills including the ability to mentor and be mentored.
